Rohnert Park is the home of Sonoma State University (SSU) which is part of the 23-campus California State University system. Sonoma Stateoffers bachelor’s degrees in 33 fields and master’s programs in 13 fields. Regarded as an educational innovator, the community’s high school has joined the International Baccalaureate program. Visitors to the SSU campus will enjoy the butterfly garden and native plant sanctuary, set beside the placid waters of geese and duck laden lakes.
