John has 30 years experience in Real Estate Sales and Marketing; 14 years as a consistent Top Producer working in Residential, Ranch & Commercial Investments with Frank Howard Allen Realty; Followed by 16 years at Christopherson Homes, Inc. where he served as VP and Managing Broker for Christopherson Homes from 1992 until 2000 selling and closing 150 to 200 homes a year with revenues of $100-150,000,000 as year. In 2000 when he was Project Manger of Siena at Tuscany a 165 home luxury New Home Community where he was a finalist as Sales Manager of the Year for MAME for all Bay Area Communities. John hired, trained and managed the North Bays # 1 New Home Sales Staff two years running as rated by JD Powers. John has also served intermittently as Managing Broker for Christopherson Homes Resale Division between 1994 and 2007. In 2008 John rejoined Frank Howard Allen and formed the Duran Group to assist New Home Builders in the Sales and Marketing of their New Home Communities and is currently serving on the Board of Directors of the Santa Rosa Board of Realtors.

Our highly skilled and experienced sales team of four Broker/Agents is knowledgeable in the entire computer driven process of administratively managing, marketing, selling and closing bank owned properties. We are keenly aware of the critical importance of completing all assignments and tasks in a timely fashion and to be consistently accurate with our BPO's valuations. We also understand our responsibility to generate the highest possible revenue we can for our banks and their investors. From assignment and acquisition to asset evaluation, repairs, maintenance, marketing, contract negotiation, escrow management and close of escrow: our commitment is to provide our clients and customers with extraordinary service while demonstrating superior marketing & sales skills.

In the past I have represented Centennial, Atlas and Downey Savings & Loans in the marketing and sales of their bank owed properties during the last savings and loan challenges of the early 90's. Additionally, I have worked directly with the Internal Revenue Service, State of California Franchise Tax Board and the Sonoma County Bankruptcy Court; handling properties which have had tax liens and/or been seized and had to be liquidated. In all these cases, I have successfully executed legal contracts and processed complicated escrows in a smooth and timely manner.

Public Service: Owner/Manager of the “Belvedere Restaurant & Cabaret” 1975 to 1980. and Created “The Studio KAFE” Restaurant, Bar and Night Club with “KAFE 96” Cable Radio station and co produced “On The Air”, a TV show with Santa Rosa's Channel 50 which produced weekly music and comedy entertainment variety shows.
